Starring Gene Kelly , Frank Sinatra , and Jules Munshin , On the Town follows three sailors on a whirlwind 24-hour shore leave in New York City. Filled with iconic locations, memorable songs, dazzling choreography, and plenty of romance, the film remains one of Hollywood’s greatest love letters to New York. As New York Harbor comes alive this summer with America250 commemorations, visiting ships, and waterfront celebrations, On the Town offers the perfect cinematic companion—capturing the city's enduring spirit of adventure, possibility, and joy. The evening will include special surprises, giveaways, and a live musical tribute inspired by the film.
