Explore new reads for summer in this author panel with writers Hilary Davidson, Every Lie I Told, Connor Martin, The Silver Fish, and Camille Perri, Social Animals Hilary Davidson was a journalist before she turned to the dark side and started writing crime fiction. Her novels include the award-winning Lily Moore series— The Damage Done, The Next One to Fall, and Evil in All Its Disguises —the bestselling Shadows of New York series— One Small Sacrifice and Don’t Look Down —and the standalone novels Blood Always Tells and Her Last Breath. She is also the author of some fifty short stories. Her fiction has won two Anthony Awards, a Derringer Award, and a host of other accolades. Her novels have been translated into French, German, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, and Russian. Toronto born and raised, she moved to New York City in October 2001. She is also the author of eighteen nonfiction books. Connor Martin is a writer and former senior US national security official, most recently serving as Deputy Director on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) at the Treasury Department. He is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and he splits his time between Washington and Brooklyn. The Silver Fish is his first novel. Camille Perri is the author of The Assistants and When Katie Met Cassidy . She has worked as a book editor for Cosmopolitan and Esquire . She has also been a ghostwriter of young adult novels and a reference librarian. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University, where she majored in English and gender and sexuality studies, and a Master of Library Science degree from Queens College.
