Please join us for this special edition of our Author series featuring Kathy Curto, editor of What Are You Waiting For?: An Anthology, with contributors Terri Linton and Christopher L. Vaughan, as well as anthology editor and author Domenica Ruta. Kathy Curto is the author of Not for Nothing: Glimpses into a Jersey Girlhood . Her work has been featured in The New York Times , on NPR , and in the anthologies And There Were Red Geraniums Everywhere and Listen to Your Mother: What She Said Then, What We’re Saying Now . She has also published widely in a variety of literary journals and magazines. She is co-founder of Key to the Castle Workshop and serves on the board of the Italian American Writers Association. Kathy lives with her family in the Hudson Valley. Terri Linton is a writer, educator, workshop curator, and mom to her beloved son. Her writing has been published in the anthology We Got This: Solo Mom Stories of Grit, Heart, and Humor ; Catapult Magazine ; Zibby Mag ; Mother Mag ; and other online sites. She was a 2021 awardee of the Money for Women/Barbara Deming Memorial Fund grant for nonfiction writing. Terri is currently at work on her memoir. Domenica Ruta is a fiction writer and memoirist from Massachusetts. Her first novel, Last Day (Speigal & Grau/Penguin Random House, 2019), was named one of the “100 Notable Books of the Year” by The New York Times . Domenica Ruta’s short fiction has been published in Boston Review , Indiana Review , and Epoch . Her essays have appeared in Ninth Letter , New York Magazine and elsewhere. Christopher L. Vaughan is a freelance writer who covers disability and parenthood. He recently finished writing his first memoir and has been in the media industry for more than a decade. His work has appeared in The New York Times and USA Today . He lives in Tarrytown, NY, with his son Noah and wife Lisa.
