An introduction to bundle dyeing and how to start a dye bath. Participants will learn how to bundle dye. A natural dye process in which materials like flowers, leaves, dye extracts and food scraps are placed onto fabric, wrapped, and then steamed to reveal colors and prints. Then we will learn how to start a bath with dye extracts and/or food scraps. Electricity will be needed for bundle dyeing and dye baths. Materials will be provided.
