Ready to do some good work while getting a good workout? If so, this is the project for you. Join the Greenbelt Conservation Corps in High Rock as we install the final check step along the Lavender Trail lto control erosion, add soil around check steps that were installed earlier, and remove phragmites and any other invasive vegetation we find along the way to improve the trail for the peak summer hiking season- and beyond. Additional instructions for participants: Dress for working outside in the weather, which may be humid and muddy. Wear hiking boots or other sturdy closed toed shoes with ankle support. Bring a snack and water.
