Riverside Playground Partners presents their annual summer concert series, fully funded by proceeds from the Hippo Playground Spring Fair. July 22 - Michael Napolitano July 29 - Esther Crow Aug 5 - Suzi Shelton Aug 12 - Flor Bromley Aug 19 - Matt Heaton Aug 26 - Hopalong Andrew Matt Heaton believes music for kids can be entertaining for both children AND parents. His songs blend mid century American guitar styles: surf, rockabilly, western swing & soul, delivered with a wry sense of humor and a sincere sense of fun. Children and adults respond to his musicianship and variety. The grown ups in the room particularly appreciate the Muppet-esque touches of humor and observations of kid behavior. He is a favorite at the library sing along circuit in the Boston area. In fact, it was taking his own kid to sing alongs that started his interest in playing music for kids/families. Expect a mix of old and new favorites, all delivered with stye and aplomb.
