This summer, NYC Parks and The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment will host family-friendly movie showings across the five boroughs. Genetically engineered dinosaurs run amok on a remote island in this special-effects extravaganza. It's up to a paleontologist, a paleobotanist and a mathematician to outmaneuver the deadly beasts and find their way back to civilization. Based on Michael Crichton's best seller. The film won three Oscars, including Best Visual Effects. Rated PG-13 The following movie has been rated PG-13. Some material may be inappropriate for young children. Parents may wish to consider whether it should be viewed by those under 13. Movies begin at dusk. This event is FREE and open to the public.
