Waterfront sunset concerts sponsored by the Riverside Tennis Association . No performance on July 4th. June 20 - Ron McClure & Friends June 27 - Morrisania Band Project July 11 - The Afro-Latineers July 18 - The Slim Kings July 25 - Richard Baratta August 1 - The Brooklyners August 8 - Durieux Durieux is a Bronx-based band known for an idiosyncratic, yet moving, take on Alternative R&B/Soul. Led by singer and rhythm guitarist Bryan Durieux, the band originally begun as a solo act. Over time, the music evolved to a point where Bryan began to perform on stage with a full band behind him. The blend of Bryan’s talent melded with soulful bass (Seth “Happy” Nicholson), groove centric drums (Danny Castro), and intricate guitar (Gannon Ferrell) is a sight to see. Bryan is a story teller and a performer that writes his lyrics, from the heart, based on experiences in life that anyone can find relatable. Blend that with sound of his band and it becomes an experience that will have you in your feelings, but also make you want to groove and be on stage with them singing your heart out. Durieux has performed on stages all over NYC and beyond. Durieux’s goal is to bring the euphoric experience of community through music. Create a space where we all relate on an emotional level and collectively find solace within ourselves at the end of every performance.
