Paul Rivera, also known as "Sabor," leads The Afro-Latineers, a group that fuses Latin and Jazz music, often surprising audiences with the unexpected infusion of West African rhythms. Their music resonates with audiences of all ages and cultural backgrounds. The Afro-Latineers specialize in blending genres such as salsa, Latin Jazz, American Jazz standards, and Afrobeat. Their influences include legendary artist like Cal Tjader, Mongo Santamaria, Machito & The Afr0-Cubans, Stevie Wonder, Boddy Timmons, Wes Montgomery, Fela Kuti, and other pioneers of Latin and jazz music.
