The band got its name from its members’ diversity and multicultural backgrounds, as well as from its home base of Brooklyn, NYC. Formed 10 years ago, the group has since played hundreds of shows in NYC and traveled up and down the East Coast. The Brooklyners features David Langlois on vocals, percussion, and rhythm guitar; Ras Abda G on vocals and bass; Kikkah Jackson on vocals and drums; Andy Bassford on guitar; and Bryan Benhingove on keyboards, saxophone, and melodica
