Enjoy this beloved animated feature starring Shrek and his love, Fiona! Now married, they travel to Fiona's kingdom, Far Far Away. Prospect Park Alliance, Fort Greene Park Conservancy, and Rooftop Films announce Summer Movies in the Park , presented by NewYork-Presbyterian. This free, outdoor movie series in Prospect Park and Fort Greene Park takes place on Wednesday nights this summer, with screenings on August 5th and August 12th in Prospect Park, and August 26th and September 9th in Fort Greene Park. August 5: Shrek 2 6:00 PM: Lawn Opens 8:30 PM: Film Begins Directions: Enter Prospect Park at Grand Army Plaza to access the north end of the Long Meadow Shrek 2 (PG) Andrew Adamson | 2004 | US | 92 mins Enjoy this beloved animated feature starring Shrek and his love, Fiona! Now married, they travel to Fiona's kingdom, Far Far Away. The catch: her parents are unaware of the curse that struck their daughter and have assumed she married Prince Charming, not a 700-pound ogre with a talking donkey pal. The films will begin shortly after sundown; come early to picnic and enjoy pre-movie entertainment. Please note that the movie may be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
