GreenThumb community gardens are developed, led, and cared for by dedicated volunteer gardeners who critically upkeep them as public green spaces. El Batey de Dona Provi , is seeking volunteers and new garden members who are interested in helping preserve this vital green space. The garden is creating space for those who are curious and willing to dig in. Join us for a hands-on volunteer day to spread earth matter, plant natives, and explore the garden! No prior experience necessary - beginners are welcome! GreenThumb will provide supplies and facilitation. This is a great opportunity to support a dynamic community space while learning about urban agriculture. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, closed toed shoes and bring a refillable water bottle. Note: Some tasks may involve lifting heavy materials and extended periods of bending, squatting, and moving. We will have alternative tasks available. Register here!
