We proudly acknowledge that the history of New York City parks is one of LGBTQ+ history, in name, place, and memory: from Alice Austen Park, to Christopher Park, to Marsha P. Johnson Park and beyond. We want to mark this stewardship event as one specifically for LGBTQ+ Pride in New York and Inwood Hill Park, as an event that is honors and acknowledges the contributions that LGBTQ+ friends of Inwood Hill Park have made to this incredible green space over its long history. Please bring water, long-sleeved clothing that can get dirty, and sturdy, comfortable shoes. All other supplies will be provided. Children under 13 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
